Acquiring the FREC 3 qualification not only enriches your emergency care capabilities but also broadens your prospects within the pre-hospital care sector.
Recognising the invaluable experience and training that CFRs contribute, Qualsafe Awards has introduced a tailored 2-day FREC3 RPL Course. This course is specifically crafted for learners who already possess one of the approved qualifications.
The FREC 3 RPL Course is a 2-day course designed to build on your existing knowledge and skills. Allowing those with either a regulated qualification (listed below) or whom are current CFRs to progress to FREC3 smoothly.

These qualifications are recognised for the Level 3 RPL route, and individuals holding any of these qualifications are eligible for the 2-day CFR Upskill Course. We may require some additional information if you hold any of the 999 internal casualty care/first responder courses.
Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the training.
Due to the assessments, adequate numeracy and literacy skills are needed to obtain a pass.

This progressive suite of pre-hospital care qualifications are part of an HCPC approved programme to enable a learner to become a Paramedic.
The FREC 3 qualification may be used towards other qualifications at the same and higher levels including QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 4).
Entry to FREC 4 includes completion of 118 hours of contextualised learning, which must be evidenced by a CPD portfolio. In addition this qualification may aid career progression in a relevant profession.
This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years.
To remain qualified, this qualification must be retaken before the certificate expires.
