BLS and AED for Adults, Children and Infants L3

  This qualification has been designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide BLS when dealing with an emergency situation which may also involve using an AED. 

 Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level.

• Assess an unresponsive casualty (adult, child, and infant)
• Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants
• Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively
• Place casualties into the recovery position
• Respond to choking emergencies across all age groups
• Record and report incidents appropriately

  The course is assessed by way of constant trainer assessment for all the practical elements.
